Cooking Instructions

Stove-top Cook

  • 1 ½ Cups Of Water or Broth To 1 Cup Of Jollof Rice.

  • Boil The Water/Broth And Pour In The Jollof Rice.

  • Reduce Heat To Medium Low, Cover And Simmer For 35-40 Minutes Or Until Water/Broth Is Absorbed.

  • Remove From The Stove, Stir And Re-cover. Let It Stand For 5 Minutes. Fluff With Fork Before Serving.

  • OR

  • 1 ½ Cups Of Water or Broth To 1 Cup Of Jollof Rice.

  • Heat 1 Tbs of Oil in Pot and Toast Rice for 1-2 Minutes, Continuously Stir.

  • Add Water/Broth Along With Meat And Spices of Your Choice.

  • Reduce Heat To Medium Low, Cover And Simmer For 35-40 Minutes Or Until Water/Broth Is Absorbed.

  • Remove From The Stove, Stir And Re-cover. Let It Stand For 5 Minutes. Fluff With Fork Before Serving.

Rice Cooker

  • Follow The Instructions Of The Rice Cooker, Using 1 ½ Cups Of Water To 1 Cup Of Jollof Rice.

  • You May Use A Broth Of Choice (Chicken/beef/ Turkey/vegetable) To Cook Instead Of Water.

  • You May Also Add Additional Salt And Pepper To Your Taste.
